Glitch Gatsby A lot of the talented glitch-swing artists have gone to other adjacent genres like swing 'n' bass (electro swing <-> DnB), so it's pretty wonderful to hear one of the more talented creatives I've known really finding his groove when making this sort of music.

Sidenote for anyone intested, but he also did the album art by hand with digital illustration. It really gives a more holistic sense of the artist's intention from start to finish on this release. Favorite track: The Bogeyman (Goes to Ypsilanti).

At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, I needed a project to keep my brain occupied. I decided to go back to my roots of music production in sampling random bits of audio, scratching records, and generally digging to find that perfect sound or sample. I had been asked to remix/sample one or two very classic swing records for some local performers, and I decided to throw in a spookier track as well for my own personal amusement. What resulted is a psychedelic fusion of Swing, old-timey jazz, and modern bass music, glitch hop, and breaks. It's an experiment, and a departure from my previous work, but I think you'll find it to be a lot of fun.

Really hard to pick a favourite out of these four tracks that make me want to, against all good sense and character, use the phrase "absolute bangers". The rework of "Mama Said" edges it because it must have been hell itself finding elements to add to that track that didn't end up making it worse not better. Leo Stableford
